Latest Updates re Internet Outage

Due to the failure of wholesale supplier Veridas Communications, Locall Australis recently transferred all dial-up and ADSL services onto our new network. Customers affected by the outage need to make changes to their internet settings. We have extra staff working around the clock to assist customers, however due to the extremely high volume of calls there is presently a delay in our support response times. We apologise for the disruption to your service and thank you for your continued patience and support.

All dial-up accounts have migrated to the new network. We have been working from migrated records so there may be some login discrepancies. If you are experiencing difficulties with dial-up or email please call 1300 722 050.

Transfer of ADSL services is still in progress. We shall contact customers individually when service is reactivated and expect the majority of accounts to be back online by Thursday evening. To connect to our new network your ADSL login will need to change from your_username@veridas.net to your_username@australisit.net. If Veridas DNS settings were utilised these will need to be removed. If you require a temporary dial-up service please call 1800 288871.

There was a short disruption yesterday to australis.net mail, due to the migration to our new server. All mail services are now back online, with the exception of locall.aunz.com.
