Changing your Settings
To switch over to our new carrier the following changes must be made in your dial-up and email settings. Note: these instructions apply to our customers of all 'realms' including australis.net, lis.net.au, worldoptions.com.au, locall.aunz.com and ugl.com.au
Your email address does not change (locall.aunz.com customers please refer here).
New Dial-up Settings
- Dial-up user name: change to [your username]@australisit.net
eg. if your old username was netuser@australis.net this must be changed to netuser@australisit.net - Dial-up phone number: change to 0198308020
Password: there should be no change to your password, however we are working from migrated records so there may be some discrepancies. We ask your patience as we have a large number of customers to talk to. We will eventually contact you to discuss any issues.
Open your Locall Australis dial-up window, make the required changes and click "Dial". The changes will be automatically saved when you make a successful connection. Please note your password should not be changed. If you have lost this information please contact us.
New Email Settings
- Email outgoing (SMTP) mailserver: change to smtp.australisit.net
Your incoming (POP3) mailserver, email address and account settings should not be changed.
To make this change in Outlook Express, click Tools then Accounts. Ensure you select the Mail tab. Select your account then click the Properties button. Select the Servers tab and make required change. Click Apply, then OK, then Close.
